(journalreview.com) — Crawfordsville firefighters quickly contained a Wednesday evening fire in the baler room and rooftop collection system at Lakeside Book Company on State Road 32, with no injuries or structural damage reported. Employees had largely knocked down the blaze before crews arrived, and CFD credits their fast action plus help from police, dispatchers, and plant maintenance for preventing a more serious situation.
