• Council ponders future revenue, OKs funds for EMS Transport Hub (madisoncourier.com) — Jefferson County officials just committed $200,000 toward a new EMS Transport Hub while wrestling with how future tax changes could affect local services. A resident from Deputy urged council members to slow down plans for a proposed data center at Jefferson Proving Ground, citing environmental worries, as the council also boosted funding for sheriff’s staffing, youth outreach, fire radios, and road repairs.
