• Humane Society to Host Free Dog Microchip Clinic Sept. 13 (clintoncountydailynews.com) — Dog owners in and around Frankfort can get their pets microchipped for free on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 1–4 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairgrounds Show Arena. Microchips are first-come, first-served, and pets must have proof of current rabies vaccination, stay leashed, and remain in vehicles until directed by staff.
   

• Driver arrested after crash at 96th, Allisonville roundabout kills Frankfort woman (wishtv.com) — A 56-year-old woman from Frankfort, identified as Susann Hayden-Tindall, died late Tuesday in a crash at the 96th Street and Allisonville Road roundabout on the Fishers–Indianapolis border. Police say video shows a speeding pickup striking her SUV, and the other driver was arrested on a preliminary charge of driving while intoxicated causing death while blood tests are pending.
