• Oklahoma Could Soon Get its First Buc-ee's (cstoredecisions.com) — Greenwood leaders have approved plans for an $85 million Buc-ee’s travel center just south of Worthsville Road near I-65, bringing 200 full-time jobs and major traffic improvements to the area. While Oklahoma City and Iowa also prepare for new Buc-ee’s, Greenwood’s project is among the chain’s first in Indiana and includes extensive gas pumps, EV charging, and millions in road upgrades.

Residents can review detailed descriptions at the Greenwood Clerk’s Office in the police station on Surina Way, but should note that all items are sold as-is, via quick credit card payment, with no warranties.
   

• Johnson County Volleyball Tournament: Center Grove claims 13th straight county crown, but both finalists looking ahead to postseason success (dailyjournal.net) — Center Grove’s volleyball team captured its 13th straight Johnson County Tournament title, sweeping Greenwood Christian Academy in Thursday’s final at Edinburgh. Greenwood Christian still showed strong form against the larger 4A program and is using the match to prepare for another deep Class A postseason run, with players and coaches focused on building toward sectionals and beyond.
