• Lake Station Woman Accused Of Leaving Infant In Another Woman's Care For Nearly A Month (regionnewssource.org) — A 21-year-old Lake Station woman has been charged with neglect of a dependent after authorities say she left her newborn in another woman’s care for nearly a month without support. Police later found her Lake Station camper in severe disrepair and unsuitable for an infant, and the child is now in the custody of the Indiana Department of Child Services.
