• Survivors at Refuge Girls Academy fight back against abuse and exploitation (fightbacknews.org) — Survivors of the Refuge Girls Academy in Lebanon recently gathered outside the facility to protest what they describe as years of abuse, exploitation, and forced labor, and to support an expanding legal case now representing 35 former residents. Speakers shared harrowing personal stories from their time at the program, while organizers framed the effort as part of broader struggles for women’s, LGBTQ, and workers’ rights in Indiana.
