• Jury convicts 62-year-old Marion man for Muncie pawn shop attack (wishtv.com) — A 62-year-old man from Marion has been convicted in Delaware County of attempted murder and several related felonies after attacking a Muncie pawn shop employee with a wrench in April 2024. He was shot by another employee who intervened, and sentencing is set for July 8, with possible prison time of up to 40 years. 
• Mary Lou Kintyle, 61 (portcitydaily.com) — Family and friends are mourning 61-year-old Mary Lou Kintyle, who was born in Marion and recently passed away at her home. Remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister who loved gardening, canning, and her dogs, her family plans a memorial service to be announced soon.
