• The City of Muncie to open healthcare clinic with the Muncie Mission (ballstatedaily.com) — Muncie officials are partnering with the Muncie Mission to open a no-cost community healthcare clinic at 809 W. 8th Street, expected to begin operations in 2027. The Mission will staff and run the clinic, while also exchanging facilities with the city to better serve local residents alongside ongoing services from Meridian Health Services. 
• Muncie man accused of beating, choking 14-year-old boy (thestarpress.com) — Muncie readers should know a local man was arrested this week after police say he seriously injured and choked a 14-year-old boy at a southside home. The teen was taken to IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital with visible injuries, and the suspect remains jailed without bond while the Delaware County prosecutor reviews potential formal charges.
• Yorktown man allegedly breaks into Muncie church, smashes items while 'jumping and yelling' (wthr.com) — Police say a Yorktown man was arrested after an early-morning break-in and property damage at a church on North Madison Street in Muncie. Officers reportedly found him inside, “jumping and yelling,” before detaining him and taking him for medical clearance. He’s being held at the Delaware County Jail on preliminary burglary and criminal mischief charges.
