• Power restored to thousands after downed line causes fire at Duke Energy substation in New Albany (wdrb.com) — Thousands of New Albany and Floyds Knobs residents briefly lost power Thursday after a downed electrical line sparked a brush fire at a Duke Energy substation off I-265 near Paoli Pike. New Albany firefighters contained the blaze while Duke cut power, and electricity was restored to about 4,140 affected customers by mid-afternoon.
