• Manchester Schools Superintendent Resigns (timesuniononline.com) — North Manchester’s Manchester Community Schools superintendent, Tony Cassel, has resigned following a recent incident in which a comment he made did not meet the district’s professionalism expectations. The school board has appointed CFO Dr. Jeff Stephens as interim superintendent while beginning the search for a permanent replacement. Cassel had led the district since 2023, following former superintendent Kyle Wieland’s resignation.
