• Evie May Purry (wamwamfm.com) — Seymour readers are remembering native daughter Evie May Purry, born there in 1961, who passed away June 8 in Evansville. Loved for her years at Wal-Mart, her gardening, and devotion to family and pets, she is survived by her husband Tommie, three sons, grandchildren, and extended family. Services are today in Washington, Indiana, with memorial contributions requested in lieu of flowers.
