2. Porter County Community Foundation Awards Over $250,000 to Local Community Organizations (wimsradio.com) — More than $257,000 in new grants is heading to Porter County nonprofits, including funding for Valparaiso Parks’ new infant and toddler play zone at Kirchhoff Park and car seats through Valparaiso Police. The Porter County Community Foundation details 33 awards supporting safety, housing, mental health, libraries, and youth programs.
