• US 75 Closure Planned Between Le Mars and Maurice Beginning June 17th (kiwaradio.com) — Expect more traffic through Alton starting June 17, as U.S. Highway 75 between Le Mars and Maurice will fully close and detour vehicles onto Highway 60 through town until about June 30. Commuters and truck traffic will be rerouted via Alton and Orange City before reconnecting with Highway 75 near Maurice, so plan extra time and watch for heavier traffic and detour signs.
