• Ames 5K for Ukraine raises $3,000 (iowastatedaily.com) — An Ames High School student organized a 5K at Ada Hayden Park that drew about 60 participants and raised $3,000 for Ukrainian relief group Nova Ukraine. Ames residents, local bakeries, Hy-Vee, and the Ames Interfaith Alliance all pitched in, highlighting how the community is supporting Ukrainian neighbors and recent refugees.
