• Tornado causes destruction at WACO High School (mississippivalleypublishing.com) — Danville soccer players and coaches were caught in a sudden tornado while playing at WACO High School, but everyone from both schools made it to shelter safely. Danville athletes helped younger WACO students reach safety, even while injured themselves, as the storm heavily damaged the field and a new agricultural center. WACO has cancelled sports for the week while students help clean up.
