Nahant Marsh, Davenport, to host Monarch & Friends Party (ourquadcities.com) — Families in Davenport can head to Nahant Marsh on Saturday, Sept. 12, for a free Monarch & Friends Party celebrating butterfly migration and local insect life. From 9 a.m. to noon, you can help catch, tag, and release monarchs, enjoy hands-on nature activities, and learn about pollinators and other invertebrates right at 4220 Wapello Ave.

New Three-week Program Helps Participants Explore Healthcare Careers and Take the Next Step Toward Training and Employment (businessdailynetwork.com) — Davenport residents interested in healthcare careers can enroll in Goodwill of the Heartland's free three-week Healthcare Career Connections program starting Oct. 19 in town. Participants will explore healthcare roles, meet employers and educators, join workplace experiences, and work one-on-one with a career navigator to build a realistic training and employment plan.
