• Fatal farmhouse fire near Minburn leaves one dead, firefighter injured (kdsm17.com) — Granger’s fire department was among several area crews called to a deadly late-night farmhouse fire near Minburn that killed a 57-year-old man and injured a firefighter. Officials say the older two-story home’s construction helped the flames spread quickly, leading to a roof collapse. The cause remains under investigation, and the injured firefighter is being treated in Des Moines.
