• Central Iowa man pleads guilty to vehicular homicide in death of 15-year-old (kcrg.com) — A man from Grinnell has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide and operating while intoxicated after a motorcycle crash in Polk County that killed a 15-year-old Des Moines student last September. Prosecutors say he admitted to reckless driving with marijuana in his system and speeding more than twice the limit; he now faces up to 12 years in prison with sentencing set for July 29.
