• Hartley business owner is ILCC Outstanding Alumni Award winner (hartleysentinel.com) — A Hartley business owner, Melissa Studer, has been honored with Iowa Lakes Community College’s 2026 Jim Hall Outstanding Alumni Award for her wide-ranging service in health care and community leadership. Alongside her regional healthcare role and advocacy work, she owns the Six Eleven Company event space in Hartley and manages two Airbnb properties while raising her family.
