• US 75 Closure Planned Between Le Mars and Maurice Beginning June 17th (kiwaradio.com) — Drivers in and around Le Mars need to prepare for a full closure of U.S. Highway 75 between Highway 60 north of Le Mars and Highway 10 north of Maurice from June 17 to June 30. Traffic will be detoured via Highway 60 through Alton and Orange City, then back north on 75, so commuters should allow extra time and watch for signs. 
• Le Mars softball wins pair of games on senior night (klem1410.com) — Le Mars softball fans can celebrate as the Bulldogs grabbed their first MRAC wins of the season on Senior Night, sweeping Council Bluffs AL in two five-inning games. After an 0-12 conference start, the team’s bats exploded for 32 runs, and they now turn quickly to a tough home matchup against ranked Bishop Heelan on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
• Plymouth County Sheriff's Officer receives award for Top Drug Recognition Expert in the NW Iowa (ktiv.com) — Le Mars residents can take pride in Plymouth County Deputy Kyle Petersen, who was honored as the top Drug Recognition Expert in northwest Iowa. Based out of Le Mars, Petersen and his K-9 partner Zeke have earned multiple regional awards for drug detection, suspect searches, and criminal apprehension, highlighting local contributions to safer Iowa roads.
