• Oelwein baseball breaks even in doubleheader (communitynewspapergroup.com) — Oelwein baseball fans saw their Huskies split a dramatic home doubleheader, blowing a late lead to South Hardin before roaring back with an 8–1 win over Sumner-Fredericksburg behind Maddox Pattison’s one-hitter. Several Huskies had big nights at the plate, and Oelwein will host #7 Cascade tonight before returning home again Tuesday to face AGWSR, with both games starting at 7 p.m.
