• Orange City Continues Housing Expansion Amid Strong Demand (kiwaradio.com) — Orange City leaders are pushing ahead with new workforce and rental housing, backing tax-credit projects and expanding the long-running Puddle Jumper developments. From Madison Place Southeast to North Vineland and west-side lots near Unity Christian, officials say demand remains strong and are working to open more sites for construction as soon as this fall. 
• US 75 Closure Planned Between Le Mars and Maurice Beginning June 17th (kiwaradio.com) — If you drive between Le Mars and Maurice, expect a full closure of U.S. 75 from June 17–30, with all traffic detoured via Highway 60 through Alton and Orange City. Orange City motorists will see more traffic and should plan extra time while following posted detour signs during this weather-dependent construction project.
• Jesse Van Kalsbeek eager to prove himself at D1 level for South Dakota State (mitchellrepublic.com) — Former Northwestern College star Jesse Van Kalsbeek, who dominated at the NAIA level in Orange City, is moving up to Division I with South Dakota State.
