• Juvenile Identified in Graffiti Vandalism Throughout Stuart (westerniowatoday.com) — Stuart police have identified two juvenile females in connection with widespread blue-spray-paint graffiti that damaged signs, vehicles, mailboxes, buildings, and the Stuart Aquatic Center. Officers say the vandalism has hit some residents hard financially and urge anyone finding additional damage to contact the Stuart Police Department at 515-523-1896.
   

• Stuart Woman Arrested Following Fatal Drowning of a Child (raccoonvalleyradio.com) — A Stuart woman has been arrested on an alleged charge of child endangerment resulting in death after a two-year-old drowned following a May 27 pond incident near the Union Estates development in Stuart. Police say the child later died at a Des Moines hospital and the investigation remains active, with no further details being released yet.
