• Man arrested following bar fight in Wapello (mississippivalleypublishing.com) — A late-night disturbance at Wooster’s Roost Bar in downtown Wapello led to a man’s arrest after deputies say he fought inside the bar and then resisted them during the arrest. Authorities report taser use, no major injuries, and assistance from Wapello Fire and Rescue and other agencies. The suspect is jailed on multiple charges with a preliminary hearing set in mid-August.
