Members also extended immunization services, approved selling a surplus county vehicle, and heard about free radon and colorectal cancer test kits that could soon be available to local residents.
   

• Daufeldt leads hot start for Lone Tree golf (thenews-ia.com) — Wapello sports fans saw Lone Tree’s boys golf team notch a top-four finish at the Wapello Invite, where senior John Daufeldt placed ninth overall. He and teammate Owen Eden have since powered Lone Tree to a 2-0 conference start, including a win over nearby Louisa-Muscatine.
