• Waukee football coach arrested on OWI charge before school year (kcci.com) — Waukee Community School District says its head football coach and high school teacher recently reported his own OWI arrest, and the district is handling it under board policy as the school year starts. Officials emphasize staff are expected to be role models and say they can't share more because it's both a legal and confidential personnel matter, while stressing support for students.
