• Night Ranger Shares New Tour Dates for 2027 (wearesierravista.com) — Night Ranger has added a Waukee stop to their 2026–27 tour, playing Vibrant Music Hall on Sept. 18, 2026. The band is celebrating decades of hits while hinting at possible new music, giving local classic rock fans plenty of time to plan for a big hometown-style show next fall. 
• Iowa Wolves acquire returning player rights to Payton Sandfort (usatoday.com) — Waukee native Payton Sandfort is coming closer to home, with his G League rights traded from the Oklahoma City Blue to the Iowa Wolves in Des Moines. After a strong rookie year split between the Thunder and Blue, he'll now play within easy driving distance for Waukee fans eager to watch his pro career develop.
