• All the Grandstand Shows For 2026 County (wearedubuque.com) — West Union residents can look forward to big-name entertainment at the 2026 Fayette County Fair, including an ’80s tribute night and a Nate Smith concert on July 24–25. • Schneberger Tabbed UI Associate VP for Athletics Development (hawkeyesports.com) — A fellow West Union native, Adam Schneberger, has been appointed associate vice president for athletics development at the University of Iowa, leading major fundraising for Hawkeye sports. After 15 years in Stanford’s development office, he returns to Iowa to oversee large-scale campaigns, donor relations, and long-term financial strategy that support student-athletes and athletics facilities statewide.
