• Crawford Livestock takes part in Livestock Marketing Association Fly-In in March (tsln.com) — Two Garnett residents, Ron and Christine Ratliff, were among livestock market leaders who traveled to Washington, D.C., to advocate for policies affecting cattle producers and rural economies. They joined Nebraska-based Crawford Livestock representatives and others in meetings with members of Congress about animal disease prevention, traceability rules, labor visas, transportation regulations, and market ownership restrictions that could impact producers across Kansas and the region.
