Her race is part of a major shakeup, with five Republican incumbents stepping aside and several contested contests that could shift control of statewide K‑12 policy. 
• Mulvane sweeps KABC Class 4A honors with announcement of All-State teams (kshsaacovered.com) — Lansing baseball fans can cheer two Lions named to the KABC Class 5A All-State teams: senior Bryce Fullen at first base and junior Reece Mattingly in the outfield, with junior Trey Boden honored in middle infield.
