• Red Cross in urgent need for blood donors, where you can donate in June (fox4kc.com) — Mission Hills residents are being urged to donate blood or platelets as the American Red Cross faces an alarming drop in scheduled donations heading into summer. Local drives are available in Mission Hills and nearby Johnson County cities, and donors who give by June 28 receive a $15 e-gift card and a chance at larger prizes.
