Pumpkin Fest brings the biggest weekend of the year to a pumpkin patch near Kansas City: Historic Weston Orchard & Vineyard in Weston, Missouri. It runs Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, 9am to 5pm both days, and one farm ticket covers all of it.
Hayrack rides run out to the pumpkin patch all day both days, and you can ride as many times as you like. At the patch you walk the rows and cut your own pumpkin off the vine, then pay by weight on the way out. Apples are still picking too, so one trip covers apples and pumpkins.
The weekend schedule
- 9am: Gates open, and the bakery is already frying apple cider donuts
- All day: Hayrack rides to the pumpkin patch, the two-acre corn maze and all 16 farm activities

The fall lineup also includes hay mountain, the corn crib, the apple cannons, the Apple Express and the weekend carousel, and the zinnias are still going. For snacks, the bakery has cider donuts fried from the orchard's own pressed cider, cider slushies, hot spiced cider, caramel apples and kettle corn.

There's no separate Pumpkin Fest ticket. Fall weekend admission covers the festival and the whole farm, with no tokens or wristbands.
