• Kentucky man pleads guilty to polluting Lawrence County creek system (wchstv.com) — Federal prosecutors based in Ashland say a Lawrence County oil well owner admitted to dumping brine into Left Fork Blaine Creek for two years, turning the water orange and lifeless. The Martha man now faces up to three years in prison and potentially millions in fines when he’s sentenced in August.
