β€’ DAR quilt resurfaces 50 years after Bicentennial (pmg-ky3.com) β€” A long-forgotten Bicentennial quilt celebrating Cynthiana and Harrison County landmarks has resurfaced after being carefully preserved for 50 years by the Florence family. Created by the local DAR chapter and featuring Cynthiana High School, the courthouse, churches, and other sites, the group now hopes to raise about $2,000 to display it permanently in the county for everyone to enjoy.
