• Danville nurse receives top patient care recognition (amnews.com) — A Danville-based Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center nurse, Chastity Sharp of Boyle County, has received the DAISY Award for her exceptional labor and delivery care. A grateful patient praised her calm explanations, attentiveness, and encouragement, and the health system is inviting more nominations to honor other outstanding nurses across its facilities.

• City Struggles With Harrodsburg's Aging Infrastucture (harrodsburgherald.com) — Harrodsburg’s aging water system has twice forced major conservation requests, most recently after a May 29 break in the raw water line from the Kentucky River.
