• Tri-State Yard Sales & Events Guide (wbkr.com) — Dawson Springs bargain hunters have a hometown option this weekend with a yard sale at 593 Fox Rd on Friday, June 12, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale promises lots of name-brand clothes, many still with tags, plus treats from Alabaster Bakehouse on-site, making it an easy stop before or after other tri-state treasure hunts. 
• KHSAA Taking Steps to Offer Pickleball and Girls' Flag Football (yoursportsedge.com) — Dawson Springs school officials strongly backed adding pickleball and stunt as KHSAA sports but opposed girls’ flag football, setting them apart from several neighboring districts. Statewide, KHSAA plans to launch pickleball championships in fall 2027-28 and girls’ flag football in spring 2027-28, while shelving stunt for now despite support from Dawson Springs and a few other Second Region schools.
