📰 News we're reading

• 101 Flock devices are watching Northern Kentucky roads. Are they in your neighborhood? (linknky.com) — Edgewood drivers should know that Edgewood Police use four Flock license plate-reading cameras, and the city also shares costs in a countywide system that links Flock alerts into 911 dispatch. A total of 101 Flock devices now watch roads across Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties, sparking debate over how police use the data and what it means for privacy and surveillance in local neighborhoods.

• St. Elizabeth Edgewood repeats as state's top hospital (kentuckytoday.com) — St. Elizabeth Edgewood has again been ranked Kentucky’s top hospital and, for the first time, the No. 1 hospital in Greater Cincinnati, also placing 48th nationally. The Edgewood campus earned high-performing marks in 20 of 23 specialties, meaning many complex heart, cancer, and surgical services are available close to home for Northern Kentucky residents.
