• Kentuckians could soon see higher prices at gas pumps due to fight over tax break (local12.com) — Falmouth is among the Kentucky cities that chose to extend Gov. Andy Beshear’s 10-cent-per-gallon gas tax break, at least through June 30, potentially keeping local pump prices lower for now. A political fight in Frankfort, however, is shrinking how many communities participate, as some cities reportedly backed out under pressure from Republican lawmakers worried about road funding.
