• City Struggles With Harrodsburg's Aging Infrastucture (harrodsburgherald.com) — Harrodsburg officials are grappling with aging water infrastructure, a $1.4 million budget shortfall, and a raw water line from the Kentucky River that has twice forced residents to cut usage. The city is pursuing a Kentucky Infrastructure Authority loan to replace the 1950s-era line that supplies Harrodsburg, Burgin, and much of Mercer County, calling the project their top priority.

• Lawrence Molnar (harrodsburgherald.com) — Harrodsburg is mourning Lawrence John “Larry” Molnar, 81, a retired electrical technician, Air Force veteran, and longtime Jehovah’s Witness minister who died June 5 in Lexington. He leaves family in Harrodsburg and beyond, and memorial gifts may be made to the Kingdom Hall on Bohon Road.
