• KSP investigating fatal collision in Henderson (the-messenger.com) — A man from Corydon was killed Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash at Green Street and Borax Drive in Henderson, and Kentucky State Police are still determining fault. The collision between a Kenworth tractor and a Ford Bronco also injured a passenger, who was taken to an Evansville hospital. Multiple Henderson police, fire, EMS, and county agencies assisted at the scene.
   

• VU plans residence hall revamps, adds men's and women's wrestling (tristatehomepage.com) — Vincennes University leaders, speaking from Henderson, outlined major upgrades to Godare and Vanderburgh residence halls aimed at giving adult learners and traditional students more private, higher-quality housing. The plan also launches new men’s and women’s wrestling programs starting in the 2026–27 academic year, potentially attracting more regional students and industry trainees with ties to Henderson.
   

• Stout Outlines Lock Repairs, Rising Costs (waterwaysjournal.net) — Major lock and dam repair projects along the Ohio River could affect river traffic that supports commerce tied to Henderson, while rising maintenance costs are straining federal budgets. At the same IRPT Ohio Basin meeting, Henderson County Riverport Authority director Ben Weithman was elected to the group’s Ohio River Basin board, giving Henderson a voice in future navigation decisions.
