The city's pilot partnership with CityWise already has thousands of users and connects tenants with local resources and paths to homeownership, reflecting how urgent housing needs have become in Lexington.

Fayette County Board of Education reviews budget corrective action plan (wkyt.com) — Fayette County school leaders in Lexington are working under a corrective action plan to fix budget problems while finalizing a $751 million fiscal 2027 budget. Student athlete of week: Jermiah Turner (fox56news.com) — A Bryan Station High School running back in Lexington is being recognized as student athlete of the week after quickly becoming a key offensive threat. Jermiah Turner credits his work ethic and his father's recovery from lung cancer for motivating him to push harder on the field and in life during his senior season.
