• Court won't let applicant pull rezoning (pmg-ky1.com) — A contested rezoning near Mount Washington is moving forward to a final vote after Bullitt County Fiscal Court refused to let the applicants withdraw their request. Neighbors along Markwell Lane packed the meeting to oppose turning 6.1 agricultural acres into highway business for a plumbing operation, citing traffic, sinkholes, and future commercial creep. A final decision is set for June 16 at the county courthouse.
