ā¢ Beshear signs measure to strengthen SNAP workforce initiatives (wkyt.com) ā Nicholasvilleās own state representative, Matt Lockett, sponsored a new Kentucky law expanding job training and employment services for residents who receive SNAP benefits. Governor Andy Beshear has signed House Bill 781, which will connect participants with workforce boards, schools, and employers, and allow the state to seek federal matching funds to strengthen nutrition and long-term employment outcomes statewide.
