• Trump signs bill to allow transfer of Paducah property to Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club (wkms.org) — Paducah families could soon see big upgrades at the Oscar Cross Boys & Girls Club, after a new federal law lets the city transfer its Park Avenue property to the nonprofit. With deed restrictions lifted, local leaders can finally pursue long-planned renovations like new classrooms and an updated gym, expanding services for kids across McCracken County.
   

• Trump Signs Four Bills on Spending, Disaster Tax Relief (mychesco.com) — One of four bills just signed by President Trump removes federal deed restrictions from 3.62 acres previously conveyed to Paducah, clearing the way for local leaders to decide how that land is used. While the other measures address national spending transparency, disaster tax relief, and an EMS memorial, this change could open new options for development or community use in the city.
