• Local leaders break ground on Covington biomedical center (linknky.com) — Ryland Heights residents are represented in a big way as hometown Sen. Chris McDaniel helped secure $125 million in state funding for a new biomedical and legal education center in nearby Covington. The Commonwealth Center for Biomedical Excellence will relocate NKU’s Chase Law School and expand the UK College of Medicine’s Northern Kentucky campus, with construction expected to finish by late 2028.
