The position, reporting to a board including Somerset’s mayor and Pulaski’s judge-executive, will be filled after a search running through July 31.
   

• Extension Staff Assistant (uky.edu) — A full-time Extension Staff Assistant position is open in Somerset for the Pulaski County Extension office, offering $15.30–$20 per hour. The role focuses on office management, customer service, QuickBooks, newsletters, and supporting county agents, with applications due by July 2, 2026.
   

• Somerset motorcyclist killed, woman hurt in 2-vehicle crash (fox56news.com) — A 34-year-old Somerset motorcyclist died after a collision with an SUV on Clifty Hill Road near Wilson Road Wednesday evening, according to Kentucky State Police. Investigators say the motorcycle struck the SUV’s passenger side at high speed; the driver of the SUV was hospitalized and later released as the investigation continues.
