Man airlifted to Our Lady of the Lake after tree-clearing accident in Mississippi (louisianafirstnews.com) — A severely injured tree-clearing worker from Adams County, Mississippi, was airlifted to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge after a falling limb struck his head. Local authorities say the August 28 accident underscores how quickly tree-removal work can turn dangerous and are urging anyone doing similar jobs to take extra precautions.
