• LSU Student Says the University Protected a Football Player She Accused of Rape: 'Football Matters More Than Anything' (whereisthebuzz.com) — An LSU student's rape allegation against a football player has now moved from the university's Title IX process into a criminal investigation overseen by the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney. She describes difficulty getting help from both LSU and Baton Rouge police and says the player was allowed to keep playing after an appeal. The DA confirms his office is reviewing the case, but no charges have been filed yet.
