• DeRidder man killed in head-on crash on La. 27 (kplctv.com) — A 46-year-old DeRidder resident, William Rester, died after his vehicle crossed the centerline and hit another SUV head-on Wednesday morning on La. 27 in Cameron Parish. State police say both drivers were properly restrained, the other driver suffered minor injuries, and toxicology tests are pending as the investigation continues.
