It’s one of 23 projects statewide supported by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities to celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary with history-focused events, art, and educational activities.

Officers recognized for DWI enforcement as mother shares son's story (wafb.com) — In Gonzales, officers from across Louisiana were honored for their DWI enforcement work while a mother shared how her 19-year-old son’s death in a drunk-driving crash changed her life. Her message to local residents is clear: plan a sober ride, because one bad decision can permanently shatter families.
   

3. Arrests Report for June 10, 2026. (stjohnsheriff.org) — A June 10 arrest report includes multiple St. John Parish residents and one person listing an address on S. St. Landry Avenue in Gonzales.
