• Grants of $34,500 bring America 250 projects to 23 Louisiana parishes (donaldsonvillechief.com) — Harrisonburg is receiving $1,500 through the Catahoula Parish School Board for a “Red River Revolutionaries” project exploring Central Louisiana’s colonial frontier as part of America’s 250th anniversary. It’s one of 23 parish projects funded by $34,500 in mini-grants from the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities, supporting local celebrations, educational programs, and public art tied to U.S. history.
